Entropic Kingdom contains sixty-five photos from five different series created by Tom Chambers over ten years. The 112-page book is organized chronologically by series including an explanatory artist statement at the beginning of each series.
The Foreword was written by photographer and curator Aline Smithson. The Afterword was written by Chambers, followed by a list of plates.
Using photomontage in five series, Chambers constructs photographic images which tell unspoken stories intended to evoke a mood in the viewer. Each image elicits a sense of mystery and the metaphysical.
